Stata Workshop: Text Data

In this workshop you'll learn how to carry out some of the most common tasks involving text data (strings) with the easy-to-use string functions built into Stata. (No regular expressions required.) This includes cleaning and standardizing text data, removing extraneous text from numeric data, and parsing.
