Change to (Former) SSCC Computers
In order to protect against a vulnerability in Windows Defender (called Redsun) and maintain functionality in Cloud Storage apps, the L&S Departmental Support Team 2 is replacing Windows Defender with the campus antivirus solution, Cisco Secure Endpoint, on all Windows computers formerly managed by the SSCC. (Recall that L&S Departmental Support Team 2 now supports desktops for the departments previously supported by the SSCC.) If you experience any issues, please reach out to helpdesk@ssc.wisc.edu.
